We are sorry to announce that guest operator permits will no longer be issued to amateur operators from ASEAN countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philiphines, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. This decision was taken by the National ORARI organization after numerous complaints that those countries consistently refuse to issue amateur radio temporary/guest operator permits to Indonesian operators. Amateur operators from those countries are urged to contact their telecommunication authorities to initiate a formal reciprocal licensing agreement with the government of Indonesia. Attention foreign amateurs! (22/05/2007): Foreign amateurs wishing to operate in Bali should read the Guest Operator Permit Application document. This document is provided as a clarification of the original document issued by ORARI Bali which can be found here. This permit allows a foreign amateur license holder to operate in Bali.
